Caution: This is a club for students in Mrs Butterfield's class who are interested in achieving "above and beyond" the normal classroom work. All you have to do is learn all about a topic, and then make an appointment with Mrs. B to demonstrate your understanding.
All you do is:
Pick a topic - There are many topics to choose from on the list below. Choose one that interests you. You many only do one topic per day. If you do not sufficiently demonstrate (give a good enough report showing) that you understand, you may try again another day.
Research it: You may use the links provided for the topics, use your own online research, or use books to find out information about the topic.
Study it: You may use your notes to study, but you must memorize the challenge answer! You may give the answer orally (tell me), or in a written format (write it down)...but you will do it without your notes.
Demonstrate your understanding: Make an appointment to give Mrs. B your answer. The times available are before school, during lunch/recess, or after school. Make your appointment using this form. Ensure that you are giving me this appointment at least one day in advance! Once your appointment has been confirmed (agreed to the day and time), you meet with the teacher and tell your information or write your information down.

While I have adapted her program to fit our class (along with some inspiration from other teachers using this program), her original design is primarily intact. Thank you Mrs. Renz for allowing us the opportunity to learn through your program!
